Godrevy Lighthouse in rough seas.

Welcome to my website, showcasing my landscape photography from the picturesque region of Cornwall.

Specializing in captivating coastal photography, the majority of my images beautifully showcase the stunning beaches and hidden coves that this remarkable area is renowned for.

Godrevy Beach at Sunset

Godrevy Beach, located on Cornwall's north coast, is a breathtaking stretch of sandy coastline framed by dramatic cliffs and the Atlantic Ocean.

The tide shapes the shore, revealing unique rock formations and tidal pools home to marine life. Ideal for beachcombers and walkers, its changing light creates a captivating atmosphere from morning to sunset. The rhythmic waves offer a tranquil backdrop, perfect for enjoying the natural surroundings. Surrounded by sand dunes and grassy banks, it's also great for wildlife observation, with various birds nesting nearby.

At low tide, the expansive beach invites exploration, embodying the rugged beauty and serenity that Cornwall is known for, attracting both locals and tourists.

Longships Lighthouse
Land’s End

Longships Lighthouse is located off the coast of Land's End, Cornwall, England, approximately 1.25 miles (2 km) southwest of the mainland. The lighthouse was first lit in 1795 to guide ships navigating the dangerous waters around the Longships Rocks, a group of small islands. Its striking design features a tall granite tower with black and white horizontal stripes. It has been fully automated since 1988 and continues to serve as a vital navigation aid.

The lighthouse has appeared in various films and TV shows, including the popular BBC series Poldark, where its dramatic setting enhanced the rugged Cornish coastline. Its remote location and iconic structure have made it a popular subject for photography and a symbol of the area's maritime history.

Wheal Coates
St Agnes

Wheal Coates is a historic tin mine located on the rugged cliffs of the Cornish coastline, near St. Agnes. Established in the mid-19th century during Cornwall’s mining boom, it played a significant role in the region's industrial heritage. The mine is best known for its picturesque engine house, a striking structure that has become an iconic symbol of the area's mining past.

The site operated from 1802 until its closure in 1889, producing tin and copper amidst the challenging landscape. Today, Wheal Coates is not only a testament to Cornwall's rich mining history but also a popular destination for visitors, offering breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and dramatic coastal scenery.

Its historical significance and natural beauty make it a must-see for landscape enthusiasts and history buffs alike.

Watching the Waves at
Godrevy

Sometimes, a wonderful opportunity presents itself unexpectedly, and you simply have to take the shot. I had originally intended to photograph the iconic Godrevy Lighthouse, but when this charming couple decided to sit down and enjoy the breathtaking view, I knew I had to capture the moment!

I took this photograph with a focal length of just over 100mm to achieve some compression and draw the lighthouse in closer. With the beautiful clouds perfectly framing the lighthouse, this image has quickly become one of my favorite shots of 2025 so far!
